Shawn’s swim school is elated to announce we were the recipients of more awards at this years Swim Australia awards on the Gold Coast We won in the best swim school promotion and marketing category for our new re branding with our Remain reading. Everyone swam so well, with so many AB’s achieved and even some records broken. So many of our swimmers achieved AB’s and all of our athletes showed great sportsmanship. Congratulations to all of our swimmers and well Continue reading. It’s been an awesome week of school swim sports. Shawn and Ken have attended as many as they could in urge of our Shawn’s Swim School swimmers representing their schools proudly. It shows that getting your children into swimming at an early age not only makes them safer in and around water, but it benefits them greatly in maximum others aspects of development as well. We offer abundant programs at our swim school catering for all levels. Once children are qualified to swim freestyle and backstroke correctly for ten meres they are promoted to the Seals class where there is a greatest of six students and the teacher is out of the water. Once hopeful and swimming healthy in the deeper water children are promoted to the larger twenty five mere pool and are promoted to our Dolphins class. From here the students progress to our Sharks, Bronze and Silver level where the emphasis is on stroke technique and fitness in the water. We have only one six week burst (the same time as the school Christmas holidays) during the year so there is continuity in the program and therefore quicker progress. If you cancel later than the cut off time or you do not divulge up for a swimming pool lesson a full fee for that lesson is required. The emphasis is on water safety, confidence and enjoyment with freestyle and back stroke taught to the more advanced. Once kids are capable to swim freestyle and backstroke correctly for ten meres they are promoted to the after level where there is a uppermost of six students and the teacher is out of the water. For this, they need to come during the after school program for these classes. These swimming classes for babies are designed to enable parents to play an essential role in teaching their children to swim lower the guidance of teachers with many years experience at active with babies and toddlers in the water. The students in the water with their parents attend two half hour lessons a week. There are no children in the pool at the mature class times. We also compete twice a year as a team against other swim schools. We require students to continue with their lessons for at minimum the beginning 10 weeks of attending squad. We encourage students to remain with their lessons for an even longer period if you can. Those who have achieved the superior results are those who continue to swim twice a week. There is no squad during the school holidays.
